Spiritual direction is the practice of being with and walking alongside others as they attempt to deepen their relationship with the Divine, or to learn, grow and expand their consciousness, spiritual discipline and spiritual path.

Those seeking companionship in their soul journey will find in me not only someone who has been through the dark but also someone who continues to deepen and nurture their process every day.

As a spiritual being having a human experience, my mission is to meet another soul wherever it may be on its journey.

My Dharma is to meet the sojourner wherever they may be on their journey and walk a bit of the way Home with them.

• An area of particular interest and special attention for me is the process known as Spiritual Awakening. The occurrence in itself is hard to define and it varies with each individual person. Simply put, a Spiritual awakening is a shift in consciousness from an egoic state into the awareness of the spiritual state. The process can be extremely daunting for a variety of reasons, not the least of which is the Dark Night of the Soul.

• The Dark Night of the Soul is a period of darkness that precedes or heralds the beginning of Spiritual Awakening. It is a season of turmoil and intensity that is necessary in order to journey on the spiritual path. The Dark Night and Spiritual Awakening are two very specific spiritual phenomena and those precious few that actually traverse the path would benefit greatly from a sojourner who has walked the path before.

• My own journey of Awakening began in 2014 and has been ongoing ever since. Already on the seeking path, an abrupt event catapulted me into The Dark Night of the Soul where I toiled for the next four years, at which point the clouds began to subside and my steps on the Spiritual Path from Darkness to Light began to form. During that time, I became hyper-aware of the specificity of this process and how much easier it could have been for me if there had been a guide in my life to show me the way. It is because of that experience that I am now passionate about helping others along the Path, outstretching my Spiritual hand to offer them company on the Way Home.
